Eggtastic Day Camp

Arctic Explorer Camp
Discover science through a winter explorer adventure.
What does an explorer in the Arctic need to do to prepare for an expedition? What will they see there?
Winter explorers, ages 3* through 4th grade, will love Discovery Center day camps (9:00 am – 4:00 pm). These camps offer days filled with winter fun, including large demonstrations, cool experiments, and explorer-approved creations to take home!

MLK Jr. Day Camp

Shockingly Fun Day Camps (Presidents Day Weekend)

Survival of the Senses Day Camp
The best place for your kids to learn and HAVE FUN while they’re out of school for Spring Break!
Looking for a way for your learners to get out of the house or away from the screens? Register for one day or all five of our Survival of the Senses Camp! Castaways ages 3 through 4th grade will discover the five senses with our sensational science experiments, crafts they can take home, and immersive experiences in our exhibits!
Our science-based curriculum ensures learning outside of the classroom in a fun environment that will have them excited to come to camp and learn something new.

Access to both pre-care and after-care: $10
- Pre-Care: 7:45 am – 9:00 am
- After-Care: 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
A charge of $10 plus $1 per minute will be incurred after 4:30 pm (or 5:30 pm if enrolled in after-care.)
Pre-K – 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Full-Day Camp* – 9:00 am-4:00 pm
*Must be 5 years old at the beginning of the camp to be eligible for a full-day camp.
- Full-day campers must bring a sack lunch and drink that does not need to be refrigerated or heated. DHDC provides morning and afternoon snacks, or you may send your child snacks if they have dietary restrictions.
- Please bring a filled reusable water bottle every day.
- Please apply sunscreen or bug spray (if needed) before drop-off. Please make sure to send sunscreen on days when campers will be at Wildcat Bluff (will be specified in camp descriptions).
Please enroll your child in camp according to the grade they are in for the 2022-23 school year. By enrolling your child, you agree to the age guidelines set by DHDC.
Campers enrolled in Pre-K must be at least three years old and potty trained to attend our camp. Campers must be at least five years old to register for our full-day camps.
If it becomes clear that your child does not satisfy the age guidelines, they may be dismissed without a refund.
Cancellations made by the customer 14 business days before the start of camp will be refunded minus a $10.00 processing fee. Cancellations within 14 days, missed camp days, and missed pre or after-care will NOT be refunded.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian except when under the direct supervision of camp instructors. Children may not be left unattended before or after camps.
Campers must be checked in with their teachers in their classrooms.
Campers should be brought to their class no more than 10 minutes before start time unless enrolled in Pre-Care.
Campers should be picked up promptly at the end of each camp. For your child’s safety, we will release your camper only to those listed on the registration. NO EXCEPTIONS! Please bring a photo ID when you pick up your child so we can identify you.
