This multi-purpose room is ideal for large gatherings. A bonus feature is that the Celebration Station can also be divided into five smaller rooms with moveable walls and hallways, perfect for breakout sessions. Four of the sectional rooms are equipped with a white board. Located downstairs in the East Wing.

Features comfortable, theater-style seating with a writing desk at each seat. The presenter’s area includes an arched stage area with a projector and screen making the auditorium a great place for educational or business functions. Includes ground-level wheelchair-accessible spaces.

If you need a smaller space for meetings or classes, we offer four unique rooms in our East and West Wings. In our East Wing, two separate rooms feature natural light with large windows and a glass wall so you can enjoy a private gathering yet still be a part of the Discovery Center action. Both Rooms have a sink and counter space. West Wing Dry Lab features natural light which overlooks the Medical Center Park, a whiteboard, and counter space. Fishbowl features large picture windows looking out into the West Wing and ample counter space.

Our East and West Exhibit Galleries are perfect for large events. Your guests will experience an event like no other amongst our many unique traveling and permanent exhibits. Each gallery can generally hold up to 30 round tables of 8 guests for a seated event and are large enough for a stage and/or dance floor (not included).

The entire 50,000 square feet facility (including the outdoor park) of the Don Harrington Discovery Center can be yours for the evening as an entertaining space. What an unforgettable way to celebrate with your family, friends, and co-workers! Available after DHDC operating hours only.

The Space Theater features 97 comfortable chairs beneath a 180-degree screen, which makes for a unique entertainment experience. You may select one of the movies in our collection for your guests which will take then to places under the sea, beyond the stars, and everywhere in between. Whether you are planning a large excursion or a romantic gathering under the stars for two, the Space Theater is the perfect spot. Available after DHDC operating hours only.

Located on the southeast side of DHDC’s front entrance, this outdoor science park features a fossil dig pit, hands-on learning, and engineering marvels. This outdoor exploration space adds 15,000 square feet of dynamic space for your event. Can be booked by itself or as an add-on to another selection.
