Discovery Fridays
Discovery Fridays is a recurring day camp for children 4 to 11 years old and includes hands-on and STEAM-based learning experiences with the Discovery Center’s state-of-the-art science labs and science demonstrations. Offered as a drop off day with TEKS-aligned science, caregivers can select full-day and half-day registration. Discovery Fridays will be offered almost every Friday starting August 21 from 9 am to 4 pm with pre-care and after-care options available for early drop-off or late pick-up needs.
Each month’s Discovery Fridays will focus on different aspects of STEAM. Even campers registered for just half of the day will be engaged in experimental learning opportunities.

Nonmembers: $30 per half day, $55 for whole day

Members: $27 per half day, $50 for whole day

DHDC’s Discovery Fridays will include snacks, time to explore their exhibits, and lunch breaks for full-day campers. Full day campers will need to bring a packed lunch, as lunch will not be provided, and only children aged 5+ who are fully potty-trained can enroll for a full day. Register here.
