Field Trips
Is a field trip right for your group?
Field trips are designed for groups such as a school, daycare, or a large educational program for students in 1st through 12th grade. For organizations such as Boy Scout troops, large family groups, church organizations, memory care groups, or anything else, please request a group visit!

- Embark on a self-guided hike along Wildcat Bluff’s 9+ miles of trails!
- Nature Learning Programs
- Join our nature learning programs at Wildcat Bluff Nature Center: Animals of the High Plains, Texas Insects and Their Relatives, or Talking Bones and Rocks.

Bring the excitement of the Don Harrington Discovery Center and Wildcat Bluff Nature Center directly to your school or community center with our ‘On-Your-Campus’ Science LIVE! demos. Our educators will come to you, equipped with all the necessary materials for engaging and educational activities. We tailor each program to enrich your students’ learning experience, providing a convenient and interactive way to explore science and nature without leaving your campus.

Virtual Programs
The Discovery Center Collective offers virtual programs covering a wide range of STEM and nature topics through virtual labs and live shows. Engage your students with this innovative approach to learning, ensuring they have access to quality STEM education regardless of location.
Virtual Science LIVE! Demos
The Discovery Center Collective’s state-of-the-art systems provide LIVE streaming of programs directly into classrooms nationwide! All programs are fully interactive, allowing students and teachers to communicate with DCC presenters in real time!
Virtual Science Labs – Available At Special Request
DCC can bring your favorite labs, virtually! We supply the hands-on materials, and all you, as the teacher, have to do is facilitate. DCC staff will be teaching every lab virtually in real-time. Pricing will include up to 30 student kits per lab, with additional kits available.
DCC requires all virtual lab requests to be received 4-6 weeks prior to your program date to account for shipping materials and program preparation.

Early Childhood Programs
Wonder Workshops
Tailored for Pre-K through Kindergarten, these hands-on workshops introduce key science concepts in an engaging and playful way.
