Wildcat Wednesdays
Amarillo’s Weekly Nature-Based Day Camp
Discover the outdoors with Wildcat Wednesdays
at Wildcat Bluff Nature Center!
Looking for an outdoor summer camp in Amarillo that combines adventure, nature, and STEM learning? Designed for students entering 1st–4th grade, Wildcat Wednesdays offer hands-on outdoor education every Wednesday from March 25–September 16, 2026 (Equinox to Equinox). Campers will explore the unique ecosystems of the Texas High Plains through guided hikes, nature investigations, wildlife discovery, and engaging STEM activities led by passionate educators—all in a fun, safe environment that encourages curiosity and confidence outdoors.
Choose the camp schedule that works best for your family with full-day or half-day options. Half-day mornings run 9:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m., half-day afternoons are 12:30–4:00 p.m., and full-day camp is 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Need extra flexibility? Add pre-care and after-care for convenient early drop-off or late pick-up—and save even more when you purchase both!
Disclaimer: Afternoon guided hikes are weather permitting. If Wildcat Wednesdays are affected by extreme heat or other weather conditions, caregivers will be contacted by a staff member with alternative camp options.
This camp is separate from The Don Harrington Discovery Center’s 2026 Summer Camps.
