Full Day and Half Day Options
Half day mornings are from 9:00 am-12:30 pm and half-day afternoons are from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm. A full day is from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Precare and aftercare options are available as well.
Are you looking for outdoor Summer Camps in Amarillo? This is a fun and safe space for your kids to learn and spend time out on the High Plains.
Join us for one of Amarillo’s best STEM-based nature camps that runs every Wednesday, ALL summer long! Each camp is filled with hands-on nature activities, guided hikes through our trail systems, and a curriculum that provides engaging learning experiences led by passionate educators in Amarillo.
This camp is separate from The Don Harrington Discovery Center 2026 Summer Camps.
What to Bring?
- Lunch is not provided– please pack your child a cold lunch to enjoy on the trail!
- Sun Protection- this includes sunblock, hats, sunglasses, or anything else your little explorer may need to brave the summer sun!
- Bug Protection
- Water! Water is a must! We suggest reusable water bottles to use at our refill station.
- Appropriate footwear- we suggest close toed shoes that have good traction for any hiking we may do.
