Making a gift to the Discovery Center Collective in your will or trust allows you to:
- Retain control of your assets during your lifetime
- Provide for loved ones while supporting the work of exploration, science, and education
- Designate your gift to benefit local discoveries
- Make a gift in honor or memory of someone special
To make your bequest to the Discovery Center Collective, please use the following language:
“TO THE DON HARRINGTON DISCOVERY CENTER FOUNDATION, INC. IN AMARILLO, TX, FEDERAL TAX ID #75-1330735, I HEREBY GIVE $______ (OR _______%) OF MY ESTATE.”
State Employee Charitable Campaign
Texas State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) is one of the largest state employee campaigns in the nation. The efforts and generosity of state employees since, Texas agency and higher education employees (active and retired) have contributed $195 million through the SECC – providing aid to their family, friends, neighbors, and countless others in need across the Lone Star state.

BNSF Railway Employee Matching Gifts
The BNSF Railway Foundation’s Employee Matching Gifts Program allows employees to give financial aid to qualified nonprofits. The Foundation matches 1:1 every dollar contributed, as long as the contribution falls within the guidelines of the program. The Matching Gift Program must be initiated by a BNSF employee using a Matching Gift form. Matching Gift payments generally take place within three to four months of the Foundation having received the Matching Gift form.
