Help us curate curiosities

Donate to our Supply Drive!

The Don Harrington Discovery Center is calling on the community to help fuel our electrifying science experiments and outreach programs! From July 16 through August 13, we’re hosting a Supply Drive to collect essential materials used in our hands-on demonstrations, school outreach, and public events.

Your donation helps bring science directly to students across the Texas Panhandle. With your support, we’ll continue reaching schools in Amarillo ISD, Canyon ISD, Dumas ISD, Hereford ISD, Wellington ISD, and beyond, delivering unforgettable STEM experiences through programs like Christmas Spectacular, Earth & Space Fest, and Best Week Ever.

We’re collecting:

  • Clean, uncrushed soda cans

  • Clean soda bottles (please, no water or sports drink bottles)

  • Plain cardboard (no tape, no writing)

  • Snack-size chip bags

Special thanks for your support:

  • Each donation enters you into a raffle to win a free DHDC & Wildcat Bluff membership or renewal.

  • Donate 15 or more items in one visit and get free admission to the Discovery Center that day!

Winners will be announced on DHDC’s Facebook page on Friday, August 15.

Join us in inspiring future scientists across the Panhandle—one soda can at a time!
